Let's Eat!

Food is our common ground,
a universal experience ...James Beard

Hot Springs has a large selection of Dining Options for even the most discriminating eater!

Naturally, most of us are very familiar with the variety of fast food chains and so we will not list those here.

We are hoping that when you come to Hot Springs you want to "Try something Different" than the normal drive thru which you have at home.

Our goal is to provide you with options that we have personally experienced and therefore highly recommend...
We continue to UPDATE this list regularly as we LOVE Food!

Budget Friendly as Money does not grow on trees (at least not in our backyard)

Angel's This is the perfect place is you want homemade oven fired pizza. Not the typical pizza joint as it is an Italian restaurant. If you sit up front you can actually see the pizza's being prepared. Located at 600 Central Avenue
Open Mon-Sat. from 11:30-10:00

Perkins- Offers a warm, friendly atmosphere and most of the staff has been there for years. Some of the ladies who have waited on us have been doing so since our first visit. That translates to Experience for us!
The Home made Breakfast with hasbrowns is our favorite choice and oh so good.

Dinners are also a good selection as you can find most traditional favorites. Is located at the intersection of Hwy. 270 and Hwy 7 on Northwest Corner. Actual address is 3630 Central Avenue Daily 6:00 am to Midnight later on weekends

Red Oak Fillin Station is like stepping back in time to the old general store (except) this is all new! It has everything from fishing bait to sandwiches and snacks.
They make homemade desserts which will wreck havoc on any diet and on Friday night they have an old fashioned Fish Fry. 2169  Carpenter Dam Road, 501-262-0400

Rocky's Corner
First of all, do not judge a book by its cover. The same is true with Rocky's. It is across the street from Oaklawn Race Track and at first glimpse it looks like a bar. (a rough one at that). However, when you enter you see the front area is for dining only and on many days you can see senior citizens enjoying a well kept secret.
Italian is the speciality and if you are from Chicago area you will LOVE the Italian Beef Sandwiches, Italian sausage, spaghetti plates, etc. Basically a Great Authentic Italian Meal. Phil (who is originally from Chicago) can vouch for the Italian Beef sandwiches. Actual Address is 2600 Central Avenue, 501-624-0199 and is Open from 11:00-11:00 until midnight on weekends.

Luxury Dining
If you are looking for something a little more special we recommend;

J & S Italian Restaurant
4836  Central Avenue, Hot Springs, AR. At the Hwy. 7 South Bridge (overlooks Lake Hamilton)
 501-525-1121 http://wwwjandsitalianvilla.com/
The cuisine is Italian and it is a favorite of locals and visitors alike. It is especially popular during Racing Season as well as other times so we highly suggest you call for Reservations. The inside has an Old World feeling and you feel as though you are a guest of a well known Italian family. (Can say that as we are of Italian heritage) In this case it is a case of atmosphere and friendliness more than heritage. Owners Jamal and Sham will insure you will have a unique dining experience.
Bon Appetit!!
